ROAD WARRIOR - THE GOLDEN HORDE

Summary: Documentary style series in search of modern day warriors across the historical territories of the Mongol Empire led by Genghis Khan. The geographies covered extend from the Carpathian Mountains in Eastern Europe to the steppes of Siberia. To the south the Horde bordered the Black Sea, the Caucasus, and parts of Persia.
Each episode will be filmed on-location with stunning backdrops integrated with local fighting legends, styles and modern fighters. Viewers will see how warriors of the Golden Border are forged. The concept can be compared to the popular Netflix series FightWorld with Frank Grillo.
Current Status: Scripts and storylines are being drafted for first season. Pre-production scouting of locations began in 2021.
